The Church of Scientology is seeking to expand into minority communities, especially the African American community. This site was created to expose Scientology's inherent racism and to serve as a warning to the public.
Racism is not a black issue, it is a human issue: it diminishes the human spirit, offends our sense of morality, and is an attack upon our fellow citizens. We find Scientology's corporate racism offensive and, in the words of Scientology's Creed, we exercise our
"…inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely [our] own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others…"
by exposing the hypocrisy of the Church's attempts to establish itself as a friend of the African American community.
The Church views the African American community as a largely untapped source of new recruits and additional revenue. Thus, it is eager to overcome its controversial image and gain credibility, to make itself more palatable to potential recruits. The Church's friendly overtures to minority communities must be met with skepticism.
